A proud ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) Enabler.
Providing the technical support needed to screen and develop, register and steward new and existing innovative products that can contribute to better health while minimizing the impact on the environment.
From GLP and cGMP studies to contaminant and packaging investigations, we are ready to support every phase of your product's lifecycle.
We apply advanced analytical methodologies and develop innovative test systems for product development and environmental challenges.
Integrated regulatory, field development & laboratory services for your bio-solutions portfolio.
Public health is one of society’s greatest challenges; preventing disease, prolonging life and promoting human health is achievable through helping all society to make informed choices.
Delivering a full range of integrated field and laboratory solutions to the Seed Breeding & Production Industries.
We respond to global regulatory challenges by providing testing services in support of product registration, safety and hazard assessment, and environmental risk determination.
Biological evaluation is a crucial process in the discovery, development and registration of all crop and plant protection products, and specialty products.
We evaluate the intrinsic properties and behaviour of chemical active substances and formulations, and to confirm identity of active substances in plant protection products.
Establishing that a plant protection product poses a low risk to human health and safety is of paramount importance in order to successfully register and market the product on a global basis.
In a dynamic and complex regulatory environment, our priority is to support clients through every stage of their registration requirements.
With comprehensive knowledge of laboratory and field studies, our scientists work together to respond quickly, using the most current approach to complex, in-depth environmental studies.
Our aim is to provide the highest quality service, supporting your company in developing superior germplasm and adapted elite varieties, helping to ensure a successful outcome in target markets.
Our scientists apply decades of experience and state-of-the-art instrumentation to deliver studies with rigorous methods, reliable data, and repeatable results. Their services include study protocol development, preparation of radiolabeled test substance formulations, homogenization of collected samples, total radioactive residue determination, and the extraction, radio-chromatographic profiling, isolation and identification of metabolites. Our team of organic synthesis chemists is ready to prepare radiolabeled test substances, stable labeled analogs, and/or postulated metabolites as reference substances for your study.
Eurofins Regulatory Science Services conducts GLP compliant plant metabolism studies that include target crop and confined rotational crop studies with radiolabeled test substances.
Our Study Directors coordinate the in-life portion of all plant metabolite projects, growing and caring for the test plants throughout each study in addition to preparing radiolabeled test substance formulations, performing the appropriate type of application of the radiolabeled test substance, and collecting tissue samples at intervals from application through harvest. The in-life portion of plant metabolism studies can be conducted in outdoor plots or inside one of our greenhouses. Collected study samples are then processed and analyzed by our scientists to determine the nature of residues in plant matrices.
Eurofins Regulatory Science Services also conducts GLP-compliant metabolism studies across a variety of species. We perform comparisons of metabolites of test substances using in vitro incubation with heptatocytes/S9 fractions. Our Study Directors oversee the in-life portion of these studies at our laboratories. Our scientists then process and analyze their collected samples to determine the nature of the residues in these matrices.
